A MiG-29 fighter that could carry American AGM-88 missiles was shot down in the Donetsk region

The Russian military shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 that could carry two AGM-88 missiles.

A day ago, the Russian military shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet near the village of Toretskoye (Donetsk region). As it turned out, the combat aircraft could carry two American AGM-88 cruise missiles, intended for strikes against air defense deployment areas in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

At the moment, it is known that some of the Ukrainian MiG-29 fighters have been adapted for the use of American AGM-88 anti-radar missiles. The latter have already been used by the Ukrainian military, as evidenced by the discovered wreckage, however, despite the fact that there are no photographs of the crash site yet, experts are confident that the plane almost certainly carried these missiles.

According to experts, the plane intended to break into the area of deployment of air defense systems and launch missiles at radar stations and air defense systems in order to "bare" the defense of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. It is with this fact that the attempt of the Ukrainian pilot to break through to the front line is connected, since, if the plane had intended to strike at the allied forces taking part in the NWO, it would almost certainly have done it from a much greater distance.

How many MiG-88 fighters converted for the use of AGM-29 cruise missiles is unknown in Ukraine.
