At the airport of St. Petersburg, passengers who smoked aboard the plane were detained.

According to the press service of the transport department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, two citizens who were smoking on the plane were detained at Pulkovo airport last weekend, in particular, it was reported that the first incident was fixed 26 August, and the second incident was recorded on 27 August.

Protocols on administrative violations were drawn up with respect to each of the detainees, and it is now known that for violating the rules of conduct on air transport, violators are to pay 1.5 thousand rubles.

It should be clarified that such incidents are recorded at a regular frequency, and, therefore, fines for smoking on board the aircraft must be increased.
