Russian Federation Ministry of Transport intends to prohibit the use of outdated "black boxes."

At the moment, we are talking about the need to ban the outdated models "black boxes", where the tape or wire is used as the recording means. Experts believe that because of the low reliability, and the need for specialized and expensive equipment, their efficiency is very low, and can not guarantee obtaining the required results of information retrieval in the event of such a necessity.

It is assumed that if the corresponding ban is adopted, the carriers need to forcibly replace the recording device on modern analogues, which is very costly.
