The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia announced the completion of tests of the domestic Su-57.

The fifth-generation domestic fighter Su-57 completed the tests and is ready to fulfill all the tasks assigned to it. Information on this subject was presented by the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Yuri Borisov, noting that the tests were successful, and at the moment all efforts are being made to not break the previously concluded contact for the supply of 76 fifth-generation fighters to the troops.

“During the tests, the Su-57 confirmed almost all the requirements of the tactical and technical specifications in full. The state contract for the supply of 76 aircraft to equip the three aviation regiments of the Aerospace Forces is being carried out in accordance with the delivery schedule. PJSC "Company" Sukhoi "together with cooperation organizations are making every possible effort to minimize the consequences caused by force majeure circumstances"- said Borisov.

It should be clarified that the first Su-57 serial fighter was supposed to go into service with the Russian Air Force in December last year, however. After a mysterious plane crash, it turned out that the deadlines would be shifted - it was originally supposed to be done in May, however, at the moment , in the arsenal of the Russian Aerospace Forces there is still not a single fifth-generation serial fighter, which causes very serious concern.

“The incident with the Su-57 very seriously undermined the credibility of this combat aircraft. Now the main question is whether the Russian aircraft manufacturers will be able to set up serial production of these combat aircraft, the adoption of which has been transferred several times without explanation, ”the specialist said.
