The Turkish company Baykar announced the successful integration of new national ammunition and systems into the Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA they are developing as part of the Bayraktar AKINCI project under the leadership of the General Directorate of Defense Industry.

On March 31, 2023, a successful test launch of Turkey's first IHA-230 supersonic aircraft missile for ground purposes from Roketsan was carried out. The missile was launched from a Bayraktar AKINCI drone that took off from a test site in the city of Chorlu in Tekirdag and headed towards Sinop for a long-range launch. IHA-230, controlled by the KKS / ANS system, launched by Bayraktar AKINCI at the Sinop training ground, accurately hit the target at a distance of 140 kilometers above the Black Sea.

The IHA-230 missile, which has a high range and accuracy of destruction, can be effective against targets at a distance of 140 kilometers. Thus, the use of a variety of ammunition increases the Bayraktar AKINCI's ability to demonstrate its threats.

It is noteworthy that in Turkey such a missile is positioned as an adversary of the C-400, S-300 and Patriot.
