The Russian Navy base may appear on the territory of Venezuela.

The Venezuelan authorities intend to turn to Russia for help, asking to send warships to their borders in order to conduct patrols, since the American navy may prepare an invasion of this Latin American country. To meet the needs of Russian sailors, a full-fledged base of the Russian Navy may appear on the coast of Venezuela.

“Russia has invested billions of dollars in this country, and before the Americans began to press it with sanctions from the outside and sabotage from within, we had a chance of starting several profitable commercial projects in this country. Russia has something to lose in this country, and these are not some abstract geopolitical interests. Russia, having declared itself to Venezuela in the form in which it was done, actually declared itself as a "security provider" alternative to the United States. Moreover, a security provider not only for Venezuela, but also for other non-hostile countries that have "invested" in this country, or are going to do so, right up to China. And then Russia will either have to come to terms with the loss of everything that has been invested in this country and the accompanying political damage, or take on the issues of fuel supply to Venezuela. And this implies the need to deliver it to this country with our own tankers. And their tankers imply the need to protect them. Only the navy can protect them. At the moment, no official appeal to Russia has been received, since the situation is not critical, however, analysts draw attention to the fact that Russia is interested in sending its warships to this region to counter the American military and stabilize the situation in Venezuela.
