Over the coming weeks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine may try to go on the offensive in the Zaporozhye region.

The high activity of the Ukrainian military in the Zaporozhye region and, in fact, the already assembled strike force in the territory controlled by Kyiv, indicate the fact that the Ukrainian army intends to attack in this particular direction. According to foreign analysts and Russian journalists, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will try to cut off the land corridor to the Crimea, thereby leaving the group of Russian troops without supplies.

According to experts, the current actions of the Ukrainian military in the area of ​​Svatovo, Kremennaya, Kherson and Slavyansk are only an attempt to distract the Russian military, since the grouping of Ukrainian troops has been in Zaporozhye for quite a long time and is trying to attract as little attention as possible. Judging by the current location of the Ukrainian forces, the Ukrainian army may well launch an attack in the direction of Melitopol, however, given the security of this direction, the likelihood of any significant advance here is minimal. At the same time, having gained control over the right-bank part of the Kherson region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine can use their long-range weapons to cover their forces in the Zaporozhye region.
