Tonight, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a strike with unmanned aerial vehicles on military installations of Ukraine located in various regions of the country. This is reported by both Russian war correspondents and Ukrainian information sources.

The target of the strike was the military airfield of the Ukrainian Air Force, located in Starokonstantinov, Khmelnitsky region. According to sources, the strike was carried out by Geranium-type unmanned aerial vehicles.

The airfield in Starokonstantinov is of strategic importance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since aviation units armed with Su-24 aircraft, converted to use Anglo-French-made Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG guided missiles, are stationed on its territory. These missiles are used by the Ukrainian military to launch attacks on Russian territory, although recently the activity of this aircraft has not been recorded, which may be due to the ongoing strikes on the airfield.

After signals about unmanned aerial vehicles appeared, Ukrainian sources reported explosions in the area of ​​the airfield in Starokonstantinov. At the same time, it remains unknown whether we are talking about UAV explosions in the air or on the ground, since it is known that the operation of air defense systems was recorded here.
