A few hours ago, the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicle attempted to strike at the Al Jafra military airbase, but it was timely discovered and destroyed by the Russian-made Pantsir air defense missile system.

According to the information available to the Avia.pro news agency, the attack by the Turkish unmanned aerial vehicle is connected with the arrival of a special board at Al-Jafrah air base, which supposedly delivered new weapons to the Libyan National Army.

It is noteworthy that, according to a number of sources, this is the second destroyed Turkish attack unmanned aerial vehicle, which has been trying to attack LNA positions at Al Jafra air base in recent times.

Given the attacks using Turkish drones, experts do not exclude the possibility that the Libyan National Army will launch attacks at Misrata Airport, where Turkish drones are based.

It should be clarified that earlier Turkish drones had already attacked the Al-Jafra airbase, as a result of which Il-76 transport aircraft belonging to the Ukrainian air carrier were destroyed.
