HAES Scanner - Czech Multipurpose civil UAV, designed in 2005 year.

The design of the multipurpose unmanned aerial vehicle was initiated by Czech specialists at the end of 2003. At its core, the HAES Scanner unmanned aerial vehicle is a radio-controlled airplane equipped with a number of special devices that provide the ability to control the ground conditions, however, unlike conventional radio-controlled models, the HAES Scanner is equipped with two types of cameras that allow monitoring in Almost any time of day, and for everything else, the drone can develop the speed of the flight to 80 km / h, and stay in the air for up to two hours.

UAV HAES Scanner is designed to monitor the situation on the roads, to monitor the fire situation, to undertake geological mapping, patrol power lines and oil and gas pipelines. UAV HAES Scanner can not be used for drawing district maps due to the limited range, in particular, the maximum distance of the flight is limited to a distance in kilometers 6.5, however, the drone also has a small height of its flight, which is 1 km.

UAV is equipped with electro-optical high-resolution camera and an infrared camera, and, drone control can be carried out at the direct control of the operator, and in the semi-autonomous mode, which to some extent simplifies the operation process of the drone.

Czech UAV HAES Scanner is equipped with rotary engine with a capacity of 11 hp, which is one of the main reasons that this drone is capable of high speed of its flight.
