According to some reports, the official Damascus warned the Turkish military about the inadmissibility of introducing heavy armored vehicles into Syrian territory, however, after threats had followed Damascus, artillery fire was fired on the Turkish military column.
Experts seriously fear that this incident could develop into a very dangerous military conflict, especially since in response to the SAA attacks, Turkish artillery launched a series of attacks on the Syrian military, which killed at least 35 SAA troops.
Turkey strikes at Syrian military
Contrary to the existing agreements between Russia and Turkey regarding the de-escalation of the situation in Syria, Turkish F-16 fighters, taking off from one of the airbases, violated the airspace of the Arab Republic, and, flying several hundred kilometers, launched rocket attacks on the positions of the Syrian army. Air defense systems against Turkish fighters were not involved.

It should be clarified that the Russian side completely refutes the data on the appearance of Turkish combat aircraft over Syria and attacks on CAA positions, however, the Twitter account “Last Defender” published a video recording the flights of Turkish fighters (presumably we are talking about F-16 - Ed.), Which in turn refutes the arguments of the Russian defense department, especially since the Turkish president personally stated that the Turkish Air Force used its combat aircraft to strike in the Arab Republic.
