American strategic drones are seen near the Russian border.

The day before, information appeared that the American strategic unmanned aerial vehicle RQ-4B Global Hawk, which is in service with the US Air Force, flew from a military base on the Italian island of Sicily and headed for the borders of the Leningrad and Pskov regions. The unmanned aerial vehicle cruised near the western Russian border for about 5 hours, but did not violate it, quite possibly carrying out deep reconnaissance.

It should be clarified that Russian fighters were not aimed at intercepting a military UAV, however, the Russian Defense Ministry advised the Pentagon to stop flying near the Russian border in order to avoid tensions between the two countries and to eliminate possible incidents in the sky.

With what exactly is the interest shown by the US and NATO to the Russian borders, so far it remains unknown.
