The United States accused Iran of attacking tankers in the Gulf of Oman.

"The United States Government believes that the Islamic Republic of Iran is responsible for today's attacks on two tankers in the Gulf of Oman"- said US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

It is noteworthy that in the United States they did not consider it necessary to clarify their arguments in any way, since other countries could well stand behind the attack on oil tankers, including in order to create an artificial provocation.
