BMP-2 troops were thrown into the air by a powerful explosion to a height of 20-25 meters

Due to the detonation of the BMP-2 ammunition, the paratroopers were thrown out of the combat vehicle to the height of a 9-story building.

In the course of an attempt to organize an offensive, two motorized rifle platoons on BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles were destroyed by one accurate hit of a powerful ammunition. However, the case turned out to be unique in that as a result of the defeat of one of the infantry fighting vehicles, the landing force inside, during an attempt to open the upper landing hatches, was thrown out by a powerful explosion to a height of about 20-25 meters. This is comparable to the height of a 9-storey residential building. The corresponding video footage was filmed by an unmanned aerial vehicle.

On the video frames, you can see how five combat vehicles were destroyed at once as a result of the strike. However, after another BMP-2 was hit, the troops tried to urgently evacuate through the upper hatches of the troop compartment, however, this almost instantly led to the detonation of ammunition. As a result of an extremely powerful explosion, the paratroopers who were in the combat vehicle were thrown to a height of several tens of meters, which can be seen on video frames.

Such a case is far from the only one, which indicates the vulnerability of these combat vehicles to high-explosive ammunition.
