Almost destroyed over Syria, the Airbus A320 disappeared over the Khmeimim air base and ended up in Iraq.

The official statement of the representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation regarding the incident created by Israeli fighters, when the latter were covered by the Airbus A320 passenger airliner from the Syrian air defense systems, received an unexpected turn. As it turned out, the plane did land at the Khmeimim airbase, but it never left, judging by the data of generally available monitoring resources, however, after only a few hours, this plane ended up at one of the airports in neighboring Iraq.

According to a number of sources, the Airbus A320 passenger airliner was in an unknown manner in neighboring Iraq, and on January 7 continued to operate flights to the Syrian capital according to the available schedule. Nevertheless, to date there is no evidence that the plane left the Russian military base “Khmeimim”, in connection with which, a number of information resources and specialists called the night flight, during Israeli attacks, fake, especially since officially the data about the incident occurred much later.

Nevertheless, experts do not exclude that the plane only flew from the Khmeimim airbase with the transponder turned off, although in fact, this contradicts international rules, especially since Israel does not refute the statements of the representative of the Russian Defense Ministry about the incident, but they do not agree with the fact that the provocation was carried out.
