Germany and France intend to create a new fighter.

At the moment, we only know that the new combat aircraft will have to be able to actively resist almost any air enemy, however, because the project is just the beginning, the first information about it will appear most likely not earlier than the middle of the 2018 year.

It is assumed that the emergence of a new combat fighter will save European states from the need to purchase expensive American combat aircraft, and, in terms of efficiency, the aircraft is unlikely to be inferior to machines from the United States.

At the moment in the territory of Germany, the main model of the combat fighter is the Eurofighter, while in France it is the Rafale fighters.
