According to information provided by the Russian editions of Fontanka and Kommersant, all 14 killed on the Losharik nuclear submarine of Russian submariners were linked to the St. Petersburg military unit, which has the status of a completely secret one.

According to Fontanka, Russian sailors were associated with the military unit 45707, information about which is under the heading "Top Secret".

According to Kommersant, the military unit is deployed in Peterhof, a suburb of St. Petersburg. At the same time, officers of this unit serve in Severomorsk, where nuclear submarines are stationed, which are carriers of ultra-small submarines used by hydronauts.

Whether the work carried out by the Losharik crew was connected with this military unit is unknown.
