At Rome airport, a strike by air traffic controllers led to the cancellation of more than 80 flights.

As noted by the Italian media, air traffic controllers are demanding an improvement in working conditions, as well as an increase in wages by 10%. It is also reported that the strike will last until this evening, and if the country's authorities do not change the situation in the near future, the action may develop into a large strike, which may in turn paralyze the country's air traffic.
