At noon, the Syrian capital and the vicinity of Damascus came under rocket fire from Israel. At the moment, there are two versions of what happened - an Israeli air force strike and rocket fire from ground-based complexes from the Golan Heights. The attack killed at least two Syrian soldiers and caused significant damage, although the bulk of the missiles were intercepted by Syrian air defenses.
