Ukraine may attack Transnistria under the guise of major Moldovan exercises.

The military has established that a large grouping of Ukrainian troops is deployed just a few kilometers from Transnistria. We are talking about several battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which include tanks, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles and artillery. Against the background of the fact that Moldova has declared its readiness to hold major military exercises on the border with Transnistria, and the increasingly active demands from Chisinau to withdraw Russian peacekeeping forces from the self-proclaimed Transnistrian Moldavian Republic, this creates a rather serious threat that Ukraine may well attack Transnistria.

Not far from the border of Transnistria and Ukraine, there is a huge arsenal, which may well be tried to be captured by Ukrainian troops, especially against the backdrop of the observed shell shortage in the ranks of the Ukrainian army.

“More and more information appears on the Web about the concentration of Ukrainian troops on the border between the Odessa region and Transnistria. It is assumed that the goal of a possible provocation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may be the famous village of Kolbasna, or rather, a giant ammunition depot in the area. Considering the statements of Zelensky and Sandu about the possible “destabilization of Moldova”, as well as Biden’s words about supporting Sandu and the plans of the new prime minister of the republic to “demilitarize Transnistria”, aggravation in the region cannot be ruled out”- said Vladimir Solovyov.

The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not comment on the deployment of large forces of the Ukrainian army on the border with Transnistria, however, certain risks do exist.
