UTair - Helicopter Services JSC, the company representing the helicopter segment of the UTair Group, has confirmed its title of the best helicopter operator in the Russian Federation, having received the Wings of Russia award in the Helicopter Services nomination for the seventh time based on the results of its work in 2017.

Diplomants and laureates of the national aviation award "Wings of Russia" were awarded at a solemn ceremony in Moscow 10 April. The event was attended by representatives of 40 companies operating in the aviation industry.

The company was awarded the high estimation of the expert community for the high dynamics of production performance growth, provided with activity in the international market, fulfillment of obligations to the leading fuel and energy complex of Russia, implementation of a number of innovative developments to ensure safety and the highest quality of flights.

For the year 2017 helicopter operators "UTair" Group transported more than 80 570 thousand cargo and thousands of passengers in general raid helicopters 130 thousand hours.

In accordance with the fleet renewal program, the company has acquired six new Mi-8AMT helicopters. UTair - Helicopter Services was the first among domestic helicopter operators to introduce an online monitoring system for aircraft, provided crews with on-board electronic portfolios and continued upgrading the automated airworthiness system.
