Production of the PAK DA bomber began in Russia.

The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, made a statement in which he stressed that Russia has already begun production of a new generation strategic bomber PAK DA.

“The Ministry of Defense has approved all the technical requirements for the promising long-range aviation complex (PAK DA), the Tupolev company and other enterprises of the United Aircraft Corporation have begun its production”- Interfax reports, referring to the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.

Not so much is known about the latest Russian strategic bomber, in particular, according to previously released data, this aircraft will be made according to the “flying wing” scheme, while the aircraft will be able to develop supersonic speed and will have low radar signature. According to still unconfirmed reports, the newest strategic bomber received the name "Shadow".

According to recent information, the rollout of the newest strategic bomber of the PAK DA project will take place between the 2021 and 2022 years, while this bomber will only be in service with the VKS by the 2027 year.
