An unusual incident occurred in the Kaluga region with a weather balloon, which was apparently used to transport explosives. The three-meter ball flew to the village of Nekrasovo in the Tarussky district and got stuck on a support not far from a private house. Two boxes were tied to the weather balloon, one of which contained what appeared to be a bottle of explosives.

According to the SHOT news channel, after discovering a suspicious object, law enforcement agencies were immediately called to the scene. The area around the discovery was cordoned off, and residents of the adjacent street were evacuated for their safety.

Currently, sappers are working at the scene of the incident to neutralize potentially dangerous objects.

It should be noted that this is not the first time weather balloons have been used to carry out attacks.
