Ministry of Transport has limited four Russian air carriers

The Ministry of Transport introduced restrictions on the activities of a number of domestic air carriers.

As follows from the information available to the editorial office of the information and news agency Avia.pro, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation imposed a temporary restriction on the growth of charter flights with respect to four Russian airlines. Information about this was announced by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maxim Sokolov, who stressed that the measures are forced, since they allow reducing the number of forced delays, as well as unjustified risks for passengers.

At the moment, it is known that restrictions have been imposed on such Russian air carriers as Azur Air, Ikar, Nordavia and Royal Flight, and Maxim Sokolov assured that the imposed restrictions will not affect the cost of air travel.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Federal Air Transport Administration (Rosaviatsia) intend to qualitatively approach the control of Russian air carriers, restricting their activities in case of revealing any problems or violations, and earlier it was also reported that, that for numerous delays, air carriers can be deprived of the right to carry out charter flights.

It should be clarified that in 2017, due to financial problems of the Russian air carrier VIM-Avia, the rest of thousands of citizens was ripped off.
