The unusual activity of Russian aviation in northern Syria has drawn attention.

Against the background of Turkey's impending large-scale military operation in the northern part of the Arab Republic, the extremely unusual activity of Russian military aviation in the same region of Syria attracted a lot of attention. If earlier Russian military helicopters flew exclusively for patrolling the area, now the number of flights has increased many times over. At the same time, Mi-8 helicopters flying in flight are constantly accompanied by Ka-52 attack combat vehicles.

One of such moments can be seen on the presented video frames, which were at the disposal of the information and news agency Avia.pro. There is nothing unusual about the flight itself, except that it took place in the eastern part of the Syrian province of Raqqa, where the Russian military was not previously seen, but the intensity of the flights is rather unusual.

Experts cannot yet comment on such flights, although they do not exclude the possibility that Russia could establish its new military base in this region, which, in addition to establishing control over the northern part of Syria, will allow controlling the eastern part of the Arab republic, including - block the movement of American military convoys, prevent Israeli air raids, etc.
