A special unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Finnish SISU armored personnel carriers was ambushed in the Donetsk region and was completely destroyed.

The Ukrainian special unit, which received Finnish amphibious SISU armored personnel carriers, tried to arrange an unexpected counterattack on the territory of the Donetsk region. As a result of the operational offensive, it was supposed to recapture one of the settlements, however, the plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were unexpectedly adjusted by high-precision artillery strikes, as a result of which the entire unit, including armored vehicles, was destroyed.

On the video footage obtained by Avia.pro journalists, you can see the moment the attack of the Ukrainian military began. Despite the rapid advance, the artillerymen destroyed the last vehicles with precision strikes, and even when the Ukrainian military tried to evacuate the wounded and the dead, although it took only a few minutes, other combat vehicles were also destroyed.

It is noteworthy that the floating Finnish armored personnel carriers were supposed to be used to quickly overcome rivers and other water barriers, however, due to the current losses of these combat vehicles, the Armed Forces of Ukraine actually lost such opportunities.
