Norwegian airline «Viking Air Norway» wants to start flights to Murmansk.

The reasons for the start of passenger traffic on the route, consisting of multiple destinations is considered low competition, while wishing to fly on this in routing are available in sufficient quantities in order to be cost effective flights. It is assumed that passenger flight Trondheim - Bodø - Tromsø - Alta - Kirkenes - Murmansk will be launched in June this year, at the same time, the flights will be operated by a small passenger aircraft Bombardier Dash-8-103, 39 capacity of people.

Earlier flights from Tromso to Murmansk exercised Russian airline "Pskovavia", however, because the flights have not received much support from the passengers, the route was closed later.
