Drones "Geran-2" proved to be a highly effective means of combating the positions of Ukrainian artillery.

Drones, the existence of which in the arsenal of the Russian army became known only last week, turned out to be an extremely effective means of defeating Ukrainian positions. The reason for this was the long range of such drones, as well as the ability of the latter to stay in the air for a long time. An example of the use of such drones was the destruction of the Ukrainian self-propelled guns 2S3 "Acacia", which was actually torn apart, scattering individual elements of this combat vehicle within a radius of several hundred meters.

Damage inflicted on a self-propelled artillery mount is critical. At the same time, it can be seen that the self-propelled gun itself was actually torn into several parts, and although this happened after the detonation of the ammunition of the artillery mount, the damage caused by the latter by the drone itself is very serious, since the drone carries a sufficiently large charge in its power.

According to preliminary data, Geran drones have already destroyed several artillery mounts and tanks, which, given the relatively low cost of one UAV, makes this weapon extremely effective.
