The anti-tank missile system successfully destroyed the Buk air defense system from a distance of 2,5 kilometers.

Despite the fact that anti-tank missile systems are not actually intended to destroy air defense systems, it became known about the first fact of using such a complex to destroy the Buk anti-aircraft missile system. Based on the video footage, the complex was successfully destroyed. At the same time, with a fairly high probability, another military vehicle was also destroyed, presumably, a transport-loading vehicle.

On the presented video frames, you can see the moment of the attack on the anti-aircraft missile system. The latter, judging by the video, is in a non-combat position and, according to analysts, the video is replenishing ammunition. The launched missile successfully covered 2,5 kilometers in just 10 seconds and successfully hit the air defense system, although no detonation of ammunition was observed.

To date, this is the first recorded case of the defeat of an anti-aircraft missile system using an anti-tank missile system, moreover, the use of the latter may be due to the need for operational destruction of the identified target.
