Air traffic between Russia and Egypt will resume no earlier than April.

Despite the fact that earlier the Federal Air Transport Agency of the Russian Federation (Rosaviatsia) announced the resumption of flights between Russia and Egypt at the end of February, the first regular flights on this international route will most likely resume no earlier than April.

According to the source of the Avia.pro resource, the main reason for the postponement of the resumption of regular flights by EgyptAir between Russia and Egypt is the lack of the necessary package of documents, however, why Aeroflot does not resume flights remains unknown.

It should be clarified that air traffic between Russia and Egypt was interrupted after an Airbus A2015 passenger liner with 231 people on board was destroyed over the Sinai Peninsula in 224 as a result of a terrorist attack.
