Russia plans to modernize Ka-52 assault helicopters.

During the military operations in the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, Russian attack helicopters Ka-52 were able to successfully prove themselves. Thanks to their amazing combat power, the enemy's positions were quickly destroyed, which in turn allowed the immediate release of the territory occupied by the militants of that country.

As it became known, in the near future the Russian military intends to make Ka-52 helicopters more destructive, in particular, it is planned to install a new gyrostabilized optoelectronic system on them, expand the range of ground targets with anti-tank missiles,

According to some reports, it was the crews of the Ka-52 combat helicopters, who took part in operations in Syria, who told the specialists the main shortcomings of modern shock vehicles, which allows us to state that the upgraded versions of Ka-52 helicopters will prove to be really effective.

It is assumed that the work related to the modernization of the Ka-52 combat helicopters will be completed by September of this year, which will allow testing of the improved vehicles in combat, provided that by that time the Russian military aircraft will not be withdrawn from the territory of Syria.
