Russia captured an intact HIMARS MLRS missile control system

The intact HIMARS MLRS missile control system ended up with the Russian military.

Avia.pro sources report that the Russian military managed to take possession of a completely intact control unit of American HIMARS MLRS missiles. In addition to allowing the Russian side to obtain objective information about the capabilities of such missiles, there is a real opportunity to obtain top-level GPS jamming technologies. This will allow, at least theoretically, to carry out electronic suppression of missiles of these systems.

In the presented photographs, you can see the control units of the MLRS HIMARS missiles. Judging by their condition, the latter do not have any damage at all, including those received when they fall to the ground or are intercepted. Considering that similar parts of the M30 and M31 missiles control the missiles, extracting information from them can be extremely valuable.

At the same time, the complete absence of any damage to the head of the rocket indicates either the fact that the rocket did not launch, or that the information may be informational stuffing, especially since the Russian defense department has not yet made any official statements didn't do it in this regard.
