Russian Su-35 flew to intercept Turkish F-4 and F-16 fighters

Russian fighters lifted from the Khmeimim air base to intercept the Turkish F-4 and F-16.

Social media sources report that Russian Su-35 fighters were lifted from the Khmeimim air base and sent to northern Syria to intercept Turkish F-4 and F-16 combat aircraft. Given the fact that the Syrian army is already in Manbij and intends to occupy a settlement Kobani, Turkish fighters could be used to attack the Syrian army, however, given the lack of any information, Russian combat aircraft apparently prevented the latter from completing this task.

There are no official comments on this subject from the representatives of the command of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Syria, however, according to monitoring groups, there are hours in the sky in the 22 region a Russian military plane was actually seen over the city of Zammarheading north.

It should be clarified that the Russian military established completely no-fly zones over Manbij and within a radius of 50 kilometers from it, while security will obviously be ensured by S-400 air defense systems located at the Khmeimim airbase and near the city of Masyaf.
