The key highway leading from Bakhmut was blocked by Russian troops.

During the ongoing battles in the north of Bakhmut, it became known that the Russian troops, having taken control of the settlement. Krasnaya Gora, were able to successfully block the highway from Bakhmut to Slavyansk. The route was not used by the Ukrainian military for the transfer of reinforcements, however, part of the military was evacuated from the city along it, including earlier units of the American PMC Mozart were withdrawn from this direction.

A few days ago, active battles were observed in the area of ​​​​the Bakhmut-Slavyansk highway. In addition to the presence of PMC "Wagner" here, there was also a certain amount of Ukrainian armored vehicles. Moreover, the latter, apparently, intended to attack the forces of the Russian PMC from the flank and thereby gain an advantage.

In fact, now the Ukrainian military controls only two routes from Bakhmut - one of them leads to Konstantinovka, and the second - to Chasov Yar.

Today there are active battles for the settlement. Paraskoviyivka, which is the last settlement north of Bakhmut and which separates Wagner PMC from the city limits.
