The Su-25 attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces crashed 20 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

This morning, on the territory of the Valuysky district of the Belgorod region, a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft crashed. The aircraft crashed near the village of Orekhovo. At the same time, the circumstances of the incident still remain unknown, since the Ukrainian military claims that the plane was shot down, while Russian sources claim that the incident occurred due to a technical malfunction, although it is known that the plane was flying from combat mission.

At the moment, it is known that the pilot on board the Su-25 attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces managed to eject, however, he died. The plane suffered critical damage during the crash, which, among other things, can be seen in the presented photographs from the crash site.

According to official data from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the cause of the crash of the Su-25 attack aircraft is a technical malfunction, however, its nature has not yet been disclosed.

Given the data presented, the Su-25 attack aircraft crashed approximately 18 kilometers from the border with Ukraine - at the moment, emergency services are working at the scene of the incident. Destruction on the ground was avoided.
