The Russian T-72 tank successfully repelled a direct hit from the Ukrainian Stugna ATGM.

Despite the fact that the fired anti-tank missile accurately hit the hull of the Russian heavy combat vehicle, the tank successfully withstood it. the damage received by the tank turned out to be minimal and, what is quite remarkable, the combat vehicle did not even lose the ability to move and fire.

On the video footage taken by the Russian military, you can see how a heavy combat vehicle carries out the smoking of the Ukrainian military from the last positions occupied, however, at some point, a missile fired from the Stugna anti-tank missile system arrives at the front of the tank. Taking into account the declared characteristics of the Ukrainian Stugna anti-tank missile systems, the tank would almost certainly have received critical damage, however, the Russian heavy combat vehicle successfully survived a direct hit and retained its mobility and fighting qualities.

This is far from the first time that Russian tanks have successfully withstood direct hits from anti-tank weapons and shows that the protection of these heavy armored fighting vehicles is very effective.
