The plane of the Ukrainian airline made an emergency landing in Egypt.

On the eve of the day, an AN-26 transport aircraft belonging to the Ukrainian air carrier, carrying out a flight to Somalia, made an emergency landing in the Egyptian city of El Alamein. According to the source, the transport aircraft had to land at the airport of this city to perform refueling, but even on the approach the crew reported on the detected technical malfunction and requested an emergency landing.

What specific technical malfunction is being talked about, for the time being it remains unknown, but several crew members were seriously injured - according to the Minister of Civil Aviation of Egypt Yunis al-Mussri, all the victims were taken to one of the local hospitals to receive qualified medical care.

Somewhat later it became known that the main circumstance of the incident was the problem with the chassis, while there was no information about the aircraft's damage to the current hour.

It is reported that as a result of the incident, the airport's work was temporarily disrupted.
