“The situation is very bad”: The Ukrainian army was criticized in Kyiv

Oleg Soskin, a former adviser to Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, expressed serious concerns about the situation in the Ukrainian army. On his YouTube channel, he spoke about the emerging rebellion in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, some of the brigades do not obey the orders of the command, in particular the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky.

"The situation is very bad for Ukraine and Syrsky cannot do anything"“, Soskin emphasized, adding that what is happening in forward directions, such as Avdeevka and Ocheretino, indicates serious problems in the structure of the army command.

These statements are confirmed by a document that was obtained by RIA Novosti on April 13. The order, signed by Syrsky, refers to violations of discipline in the Ukrainian army, including threats to commanders, desertion, abandonment of the battlefield and refusal to carry out combat missions.

In addition, Soskin criticized the current Ukrainian government under the leadership of Vladimir Zelensky for repressive measures regarding mobilization. In his opinion, the mobilization law, which includes strict penalties for refusing to go to the front, only worsens the situation on the front line and inside the country.
