The US does not have enough money to manufacture F-35 fighters

The US does not have enough money to develop the F-35 fighter program.

In his interview, US Vice-Admiral Matt Winter said that the current costs for the development of the F-35 fighter-bomber program are tremendously large, in particular, to date, this figure is 400 billion dollars (for comparison, Russia's gold and foreign exchange reserves amount to 418 billion dollars - note Avia.pro). Of course, the cost of the program is reduced, however, because of a lack of interest in buying these aircraft, the US budget incurs huge losses.

Experts note that the lack of efficiency in the use of these aircraft is also an important fact, in particular, even Russian fighters of the 4 ++ generation are many times superior in their capabilities to US military aircraft, which also creates a negative picture.

Taking into account the fact that it is planned to produce 2021 F-800 airplanes by the year of 35, the budget of the program may prove to be "unbearable", especially since US President Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that additional funds from the budget will be allocated only in that case , if the cost of F-35 aircraft decreases by 15%.

Earlier it was reported that due to errors at the design stage, the aircraft F-35 identified hundreds of shortcomings, the correction of which may require tens of billions of dollars.
