Ukrainian drones attacked Russian oil refineries

Residents of the Krasnodar region witnessed a series of explosions overnight caused by a drone attack. According to local media reports, at about four in the morning, 9 drones were shot down in the Slavyansk-on-Kuban area. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the territory of the bitumen plant, the details of which are being clarified.

The head of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratyev, confirmed that in total more than 10 drones were neutralized in the region, not only in the Slavyansky, but also in the Seversky and Kushchevsky districts. According to him, drones tried to attack oil refineries and other critical infrastructure. Despite the potential threat, there were no serious injuries or casualties. Rescue services quickly began to put out fires after the UAV crashed.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reports that air defense systems over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory during the night destroyed and intercepted 66 Ukrainian UAVs. Additionally, two more drones were shot down over Crimea, highlighting ongoing tensions in the region.
