Ukrainian helicopters spotted west of Balakliya.

The previous afternoon, a pair of Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters were seen striking with unguided munitions west of Balakliya. The corresponding video frames were published on the Web, in which they really managed to identify the area located in the Balakleysky district of the Kharkiv region.

On the video footage, you can see how two Ukrainian combat helicopters, passing at an ultra-low altitude, launch unguided missiles. What kind of terrain was hit by Ukrainian helicopters is unknown, however, according to information the source, strikes were made in the Balakleya sector.

The fact that the Ukrainian Air Force decided to use helicopters to deliver strikes in virtually uncontrolled areas where air defense systems are deployed raises a number of questions, since today the Ukrainian military is armed with a relatively small number of rotary-winged combat vehicles, the losses of which since the start of the air defense are already 152 units.

Nevertheless, experts note that with a high degree of probability, such a case was an isolated one, since today Russian air defense systems and military aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces keep the airspace under control.
