The Ukrainian military are afraid to fire from Molot mortars, hiding in a shelter.

Against the backdrop of serious losses among artillery and mortars, defective mortars were issued to the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Hammer". The latter "became famous" for the fact that, due to defects in their development and production, these weapons eliminated a fairly large number of the Ukrainian military themselves. Now, using Molot mortars, the Ukrainian military is forced to simply hide in a shelter, fearing that this weapon will explode.

On the presented video frames, you can see an episode of the use of defective Molot mortars by the Ukrainian military. The latter have to use this weapon due to the lack of another, however, experts drew attention to the fact that when loading 120-mm. mortar, the Ukrainian military immediately run for cover, fearing that they could simply be destroyed by a spontaneous explosion.

As of the beginning of 2022, the Ukrainian army was armed with 120 Molot mortars. To date, less than half of this number has remained, and therefore a rather rare episode of the use of these weapons is captured on video.

To date, it is known that since 2018 there have been 9 incidents with the explosion of Molot mortars, as a result of which at least 13 Ukrainian servicemen were killed and about 30 more were injured.
