Ukrainian ship destroyed off the coast of the Sea of Azov

The Ukrainian fleet has lost another warship.

Ukrainian warship destroyed near the pier in the port of Mariupol. There are no data on the victims and casualties yet, however, according to the People's Militia of the Donetsk People's Republic, the ship was set on fire or, more likely, blown up by the members of the Azov regiment banned in Russia. Moreover, before that, a similar situation occurred with the Turkish civilian ship Azburg.

“According to available information, Ukrainian nationalists continue the targeted destruction of ships in the Mariupol port. After setting fire to the Turkish ship "Azburg", operating under the Dominican flag, Ukrainian militants carried out another provocation. The craftsmen of 83 TsIPSO and the nationalists of "Azov" set fire to the control ship "Donbass", - said in the message NM DPR.

The reasons for the destruction of the Ukrainian control ship "Donbass" remain unknown, however, experts see two probable reasons in these actions - an attempt to prevent the capture of the ship, as well as an attempt to blame Russia by arranging a provocation.

It is not known how critical the damage to the ship is, however, given unofficial data, the latter is still afloat, although it was very badly damaged.
