An unusual accident occurred at the Yakutsk airport, which led to a delay in the Yakutia Airlines flight. An airport ground service vehicle collided with an SSJ-100 aircraft intended for a flight to Harbin. The incident caused the departure to be temporarily delayed, adding to the frustration for passengers and staff.

The situation with the SSJ-100 in the Yakutia fleet remains tense, since this is not the first case of failures with this type of aircraft. In the last months of October and November 2023 alone, three incidents of technical problems were reported that seriously disrupted flight schedules.

It is important to note that back in 2021, at a meeting with the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov raised the issue of untimely maintenance of SSJ-100 aircraft by Yakutia Airlines.
