In Yerevan, the opposition began storming the building of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The refusal of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan to fulfill the ultimatum presented to him about the need to immediately resign and leave his post, led to an increase in tension in Yerevan. According to the TASS news agency, at this hour opposition activists have already made several attempts to storm the building of the cabinet of ministers, which indicates a possible coup d'état.

“Opposition activists blocked the movement of cars near the building of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. As our correspondent reports from the scene, the police began to detain the protesters "- reports the Russian news agency.

It is known that military forces have been drawn to Yerevan in case law enforcement officers are unable to stabilize the situation, however, analysts believe that Pashinyan is unlikely to be able to keep the post of prime minister of the country, especially after he actually surrendered Karabakh, and a number of politicians suggested establishing and developing relations with Azerbaijan.

Experts do not exclude that if a coup d'état occurs in the country, relations between Russia and Armenia may seriously deteriorate, since the opposition forces have repeatedly accused Russia of not providing assistance to Armenia in the war in Karabakh.
