An energy infrastructure facility was destroyed by explosions in the Cherkasy region

A series of explosions occurred in the Cherkasy region of Ukraine. The incidents occurred against the backdrop of an air raid warning not only in Cherkasy, but also in four other regions of the country. This was reported by the publication “Mirror of the Week”. According to preliminary data, the strike destroyed an energy infrastructure facility.

These events follow other large-scale explosions: in Nikolaev, in southern Ukraine, two explosions were recorded, which local authorities say were caused by strikes by the Russian Armed Forces.

In particular, citing data from the coordinator of the Nikolaev underground, Sergei Lebedev, on the morning of April 24, a blow was struck at the Ukrainian military unit in Odessa, located near the Gorbaty Bridge. After this attack, Odessa experienced a partial blackout.

It should be noted that the Russian military intensified attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure starting in October 2022, after the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. Since then, air raid alerts have been regularly announced in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes covering the entire territory of the country.
