A passenger who smoked in an airplane was detained at Pulkovo airport.

This afternoon, a resident of North Ossetia was detained at the airport of St. Petersburg. He decided to smoke on board of an aircraft during a flight from Megas. It is reported that, despite the remark made by the passenger, he did not hurry to say goodbye to a cigarette that allows the passenger to qualify the actions as malicious insubordination to the legal requirements of crew members.

After the 38-year-old passenger was detained by the police, an administrative offense report was drawn up against him, implying a fine.

It should be noted that in the overwhelming majority of cases, the fine for smoking in an airplane does not exceed one thousand rubles, which, according to experts, should be carefully adjusted, otherwise, the number of offenses on air transport will only continue to grow.
