Foreign journalists brought by the Ukrainian military to Kupyansk published photos of the consequences of the Himars MLRS strike on the city at the end of August. As it turned out, as a result of a strike by American weapons, an ammunition depot was destroyed. Moreover, which is very remarkable, 155-mm ammunition was also found in the warehouses. It is not known how many missiles were fired in total, however, a huge territory was almost completely destroyed - civilian agricultural equipment and the infrastructure of one of the local enterprises were also located here, however, as a result of a strong detonation, the destruction turned out to be very serious.

The specialists were somewhat embarrassed by the presence of traces of NATO ammunition on the destroyed territory. This does not exclude the possibility that the warehouses could contain weapons from NATO countries, although there was no information about the storage of the latter here before.

It is known that Kupyansk was indeed hit by Himars MLRS, however, such devastating consequences of attacks using these weapons were not reported.
