Russian scientists are developing a plane equipped with laser weapons.

According to preliminary data, at the disposal of information and news agencies Avia.pro, laser weapons will be installed on the plane A-60 (special design, made on the basis of the IL-76MD - Ed.).. According to experts, bench testing laser weapons almost certainly been successfully completed, and now the problem is only to install weapon systems in the aircraft.

Given the fact that military development is of a secret nature, it is likely that there is no need to expect any more detailed information about a new airplane equipped with laser weapons in the near future.
