The incident occurred during a flight en route from Sochi to Istanbul, and during landing, the aircraft commander for technical reasons could not stop the aircraft in time. There were no casualties or injuries on board the Boeing class aircraft, and the airliner itself received only minor damage - one of the landing gear tires broke.
